Pujya Sri Swamiji visited Hyderabad in April, 2008 on the occasion of Lunar New Year – Chandramana Sarvadhari Yugadi. This 4-day trip was meticulously sandwiched between 95th and 96th foreign trips to Australia and Caribbean countries. Sri Swamiji arrived from Bengaluru at 5 PM on 4th April, 2008 at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad on the outskirts of the City.

Second Anniversary Celebrations of Karyasiddhi Marakata Anjaneya Swami Temple were inaugurated by Sri Swamiji with Ksheera Abhishekam.In the inaugural message, Sri Swamiji spoke about the forthcoming programs and their significance. The text is as follows:- “Prospects for the forthcoming Sarvadhari Year are little disturbing. Constellations of Planetary positions indicate possibilities of calamities and unrest. However, we need not worry as we devotees are protected by the divinity in various forms but let us be cautious and start worshipping the Lord. In view of the grim Scenario, Nakshatra Graha Shanti Programme has started from Maha Shivaratri in Mysore Ashrama. For the convenience of the devotees Graha Stuti is recorded in Audio CD format. Listen to this stotram (Chant of Hymns) everyday and try to chant the same. You can also chant this easier Mantra at least nine times a day.

Submit the count of your daily chant to Mysore Ashrama every month till Dattatreya Jayanti (Telephone: +91 - 97315 05172). It is better to offer Navagraha Dhanya (9 grains), rice, Samit (Homa sticks), sesame seeds and other Puja articles during this 9 month period. Further devotees can regularly visit Ashramas, Temples to perform Japa or else sit in a quiet corner/ Puja room in your house to perform Japa. We are commencing the series of rituals with Yaga in the Sannidhi of Karyasiddhi Hanuman in Hyderabad Ashrama. This sacred Yaga is conducted from 12th to 20th April, 2008. Thousands of Host Committee Members had a rare privilege of Pada Namaskarams on Saturday and Sunday. Graha Stuti - an excellent compilation of Nava Graha Mantras and Ganapati Bhajans were released in the evening. Padmabhooshana Sri Yella Venkateshwara Rao honoured Sri Jaitra Varanasi, who arranged music for the album. "Sri Datta Darshanam" Audio Book rendered by Smt. Heera Duvvuri was released. Another release was the book "Priceless lessons" containing the experiences of Sudhir Chadalavada USA.
Sri Daivagna Sharma, Sri Vamsee Ramaraju and Sri Y.V. Chandrasekhar presented a Veena to Sri Swamiji on behalf of Vamsi International Organisations Yugadi Puraskarams.
7th April, 2008 Sarvadhari Yugadi
Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji ascended the special alter for New Year Darshan at 6 AM. In spite of over night heavy showers and overcast sky, thousands and thousands of devotees visited Dundigal Ashrama for a glimpse and benediction of Sadgurudeva on New Year Day.Distinguished artists rendered music performances during this Maha Darshan. Navagraha Homa, Vada Archana (65,000 Garelu) to Hanuman, Annadanam wad performed for thousands of people, specialist medical services were conducted. Sarvadhari Almanac prepared by Sri Tangirala Prabhakara Purnaiah Siddhanti, Relangi was released. New Year Message of Pujya Sri Swamiji was Telecast by Myriad Television channels.
Exemplary services by Sri Datta Humane Services, Volunteers enhanced the innate significance and magnificence of the occasion.
In the evening, Marathi "Namarchan" (6th in the Namarchan series) consisting of 5 Marathi language Bhajans soulfully rendered by Sri Swamiji was released as a New Year gift to devotees. Sri Balaswami sung few Bhajans and Sri Kuppa Krishna Murthy (Vidyadhikari) briefly spoke about the forecast for the New Year according to Panchangam. Later, Pujya Sri Swamiji sang the Yugadi Bhajan Swagatammoi Sarvadhari (click here to download the audio in MP3).
